Words lost in translation...

I have had an interesting month, to say the least. I have been an avid internet user for the last 10+ years.  I am a member of message boards, chat rooms, blogs, myspace (when it was cool), facebook, and now twitter.  I have "met" really cool people along the way, and even went on to meet a few IRL (in real life).  However, this past month, the internet seems to be the cause of a few of my headaches.  Words taken out of context, simple misunderstandings, and just plain drama have seem to come my way.  I have taken a step back in my social networking lifestyle, to re-connect with friends on a different level.  I have been less stressed in the last few months.  Not worrying about my status messages being taken out of context or someone trying to relate my status messages to certain people.  95% of the time, I am very random in my posts.  I am not sending any subliminal messages to anyone and I am not speaking of any particular person.  Just had to get that off my chest.  Thanks for listening!

Now it's time for me to get back to Mommy duties.  How on earth, my children manage to turn my house into a playroom in three hours, I will never understand!  Time to clean house, work on learning activities with the kids, and then NAP TIME!!!

Until Later,
J

  1. Yes, I think that a lot of people take the whole social networking thing to a whole different level. I say that you have to do you and forget about what others think. Drama can only stress you out if you let it. I choose not to give my haters any attention.

  2. That's true. I'm so sensitive at times. I want to make sure no one has problems with me, but you CAN'T please everyone.
